Week#2_Prompt#3

Heating a pot of soup will overflow because the soup is in the process called thermal expanison. The pot that they are using is made of metal, which is a good thermal conductor, and on that point the temperature is rising really fast. Thermal expansion is when the temperature is increasing, the object is expanding. For example, when you leave the car outside, the heat is rising up in the car which is making the car expand. That is how heating a pot of soup can make the soup overflow

  1. Jeffrey, you did a good job explaining how the soup would overflow. Also. you used good vocabulary words like thermal expansion and thermal conductor. I also think you made a good example using a car and that you should state your resource next time. But, in all you deserve a 3.
