Week4-Need for Speed

Well, the problem the design squad was trying to fix was that they needed to make what they have and turn it into a fast, accelerated vehicle. In the choices, the red team has the bicycle, which is good because they have the lesser wieght vehicle and that causes more speed, but the blue team has the wagon which is good for turning the wheels and you can make more blueprints with the wagon. The strategies that they used is that the planned out the way they are going to make the vehicle. Also they worked and tested on the vehicles to make sure that they did or didn't have any errors on the experiment. The way the deisgn squad worked together was that they worked on the ideas and not fight over on the experiment and they used someone's idea, even if they didn't like it.

The way I would appoarch this problem is by first making more than at least five ideas. Then I would use the materials I needed in order to make the copy. After all of that is done, I would test each of the experiments all at one time and choose which is the best. What I learned from this episode is that you can't let anyone decide for you, that you have to speak your thoughts and who knows, you may have the idea that could win the challenge. Finally, the last thing that I learned is that if your team is going down, then you should help lift their spirits and say that it is not over.

  1. Jeffrey, you did good. You answered all the questions and explained. But, the contestants used a tricycle not a bicycle. But, in the end you would get a 3.
